Little About Me
From Graphic Design to UX Design
In May 2019, I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts. There, I developed a love for visual storytelling, precision, and crafting compelling designs. I was especially captivated by the power of design to communicate ideas and create meaningful connections.
But I wanted to take my skills further.
When the pandemic hit, I took the opportunity to explore new paths. That’s when I discovered UX design competitions. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a passion. Through trial and error, I turned initial challenges into growth opportunities, and UX design soon became my new creative outlet.
Building on a Foundation of Design
My background in graphic design provided me with a strong foundation for my transition into UX. Skills like attention to detail, creative thinking, and ofcourse storytelling translated seamlessly, accelerating my journey as a self-taught UX designer. I love solving complex problems through design and creating intuitive, delightful experiences for users.
Beyond Design
Outside of work, I often refine my portfolio, stay connected with the design community on Discord & YouTube, or explore my hobbies like soccer, gaming, and experimenting with the latest tech.
While I enjoyed the creative freedom of graphic design, I was drawn to the fast-paced, user-focused world of UX design—where I can blend creativity with problem-solving to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
